What this site is (and is not)

MEPCODBill helps you (1) enter a 14-digit reference number so your browser can open the official bill at bill.pitc.com.pk, and (2) run browser-side planning calculators for slabs, peak/off-peak, appliances, solar sizing, and related energy maths.

We do not issue bills, accept payments, store meter data, handle load-shedding complaints, or act as a MEPCO office. For disputes, new connections, and official complaints, contact MEPCO through its published channels.

Independence disclaimer

This website is a privately operated informational project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO), PITC, WAPDA, NEPRA, or the Government of Pakistan. Company names appear only for identification.

Independent Tooling

Calculators run entirely in your browser using official NEPRA tariff formulas and public billing structures.

Educational Guides

Clear breakdowns of FPA, QTA, GST, and Time-of-Use rates to help you understand your monthly charges.

Official Data Sources

References citing official NEPRA tariff schedules and PITC documentation for complete transparency.

Consumer Privacy

No personal billing accounts or reference numbers are stored or tracked on our servers.

Sourcing hierarchy

  1. Primary: Official portals and notices — PITC bill site, NEPRA tariff schedules, published MEPCO/XWDISCO consumer notices where available.
  2. Secondary: Our own calculator documentation (formulas, assumptions, limitations on each tool page).
  3. Tertiary: Plain-language explanations that never invent an “official” total different from the printed/official statement.

Estimates vs official bills

Calculator outputs are planning estimates. They are not legal bills, payment instructions, or NEPRA-certified totals. Peak windows and adjustment rates change — confirm on your bill and current schedules before paying or disputing.

Review dates & corrections

Guides and tools show a last reviewed date. We re-check when NEPRA or utility practice changes in a way that affects consumer guidance.

Found an error? Email support@mepcodbill.pk with the page URL and the correction. We fix factual mistakes promptly and keep the independence disclaimer intact.

Ads, funding & conflicts

The site may show advertising (for example Google AdSense) to cover hosting. Ads do not rewrite our independence disclaimer, invent live bill data, or claim official affiliation. There is no paid placement inside calculator formulas.

What we refuse to do

  • Use official MEPCO corporate logos as our brand mark
  • Fabricate “live bill” PDFs or fake loading spinners that imply a backend fetch from MEPCO
  • Claim CNIC-only lookup, multi-DISCO official portals we do not operate, or government endorsement
  • Invent traffic stats, credentials, or search-volume claims
